If you know what events are happening in Jyväskylä, you are never bored. My problem is I never know that, fortunately I have a host family that knows what is happening at the city.
Yesterday I was in a medieval market called Hansapiha in Toivolan Vanha Piha. It was more the artesanal shops that were selling there his products and the people have some middle age costumes. But, of course, exists some mark of History like fighting techniques with spades and armours of very old soldiers.
I was thinking to buy some helmet or some pair of gloves to protect me from the cold, but after I remember that with a helmet raise my head in the morning will be so much harder.
Giving the foot to spinning wool all day long.
Today has been sun everyday (St. Peter saw my blog crying for the disappearance of it) and at morning I saw the cuttest thing here so far here in Finland: a race of the primary school. It's really nice to see all the children supporting each other for doing all the best, and they are so small. In Palokka was also a normal day at school because in the Friday between the 1st of May (national holiday) that will be at a Thursday and the weekend will not exists any classes, so the schools compensate with one Saturday.
The biggest concentration of blonds I ever seen in my life.
At afternoon I went to an annual market in Lutakonaukio (close to the railway station), where you can buy handcrafts, traditional food and socks and scarfs made by the grandma.
Close to the harbour i saw the marathon, and also a very curious thing that i can't explain on the lake.
Just a few seconds before the sun went down I swam at Palokkajärvi.
OMG, THIS IS SO GOOD (vegetables, potatoes, salmon, some kind of fish from the lake that i like because we don't need to be careful with his bones because it are small and soft and garlic sauce)
Not so fast as the primary school students.
I saw this before but here is the very curious thing that i can't explain on the lake.
Moikka!!!!!
